WILMA O. "OPAL" (RICH) YOUNG
Wilma O. "Opal" Young, 90, formerly of Galion Ohio and Gibson City, died at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday 5-28-2003 in Columbus, Ohio after a brief illness. Born 8-2-1912 in Hamilton County, she was the daughter of Alson and Elva (Clevenger) Rich. She married John H. Young on 7-25-1931. He preceded her in death on 8-25-1967. Survivors include two daughters, Shirlee (William) Andrews of Galion, Ohio and Jill (Steve) Wallace of Columbus Ohio; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, Ernest and John Rich and one sister, Gertrude Hutchcraft. Funeral services were Monday at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home in Galion, Ohio with David Milroy officiating. Burial was in marion Cemetery in Marion Ohio.
